Responsible Minerals Sourcing Policy
Zirox is committed to responsible, ethical and sustainable sourcing of raw materials and minerals throughout its supply chain. In doing so, we align our practices with internationally recognized standards aimed at preventing human rights violations, forced labour, child labour and the financing of armed conflicts.
Certain raw materials – particularly tin, tantalum, tungsten and gold (“3TG”) as well as other minerals such as cobalt – are widely used in many industries. Zirox uses such materials only where technically necessary and expects its suppliers to ensure that these minerals do not originate from conflict-affected or high-risk areas.
Zirox aligns the evaluation and monitoring of its supply chains with internationally recognized standards, in particular the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals from Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas, as well as applicable legal requirements, including EU Regulation (EU) 2017/821.
We expect our suppliers to apply responsible sourcing practices, provide transparency regarding the origin of relevant minerals and implement appropriate due diligence within their own supply chains.
Zirox continuously works to improve transparency and responsible sourcing practices within its supply chain and to identify and mitigate potential risks at an early stage.
